Robert Allen Hanson

May 12, 1948 – January 20, 2021

He was born to Clifford and Mildred Hanson on May 12, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan.

Robert is preceded in death by Sandy his first wife. They have 3 children and 7 grandchildren:

Michelle (Steve); Christoper, Mackenzie and Samantha,

Tori (Dave); Emma, Daniel, Zeke and Abby and

Erik

After meeting Renee in 2005 they were married and a few years later (2012) the moved to Allyn WA.

While serving in the Army National Guard Robert received a commendation for heroism when he drove a burning tanker away from a fueling station.

Robert loved working with wood and building things so it is no surprise he made his living as a carpenter and handyman. He loved traveling and spending time with family especially his grandchildren with whom enjoyed making Lefse with whenever they were together.

He loved music and took up singing. Especially gospel music. He loved the Lord and studying Religion. Robert befriended everyone he met. He was honest and hardworking. He had a corny sense of humor and was always making us laugh.

His love of family knew no bounds. Family was his greatest treasure.
