Reinard Allen Lee, 39, beloved husband, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend, passed from this life on Thursday March 7, 2024. Reinard will be remembered for his kindness, warm heart, generosity, outgoing personality, sense of humor and the love he had for his family and friends.
Reinard was born to Edward and Regina Lee on November 2, 1984, in Norfolk, Virginia. His father served in the US Navy where Reinard had the privilege of living in several different cities around the world, most notably, Olongapo, Philippines, and Iwakuni, Japan, before his parents set down roots in Bremerton, Washington. Reinard attended middle school and high school in Bremerton, where he made lifelong friendships and where he developed his passion for cars. After graduating from Bremerton High School, Reinard attended the University of Washington in Seattle. Once he completed his studies in college, he moved back to Bremerton to be closer to his family.
Soon after moving back home, Reinard started his career in the financial industry. Reinard held various positions at financial institutions all over the Kitsap Peninsula, including Kitsap Credit Union, Evergreen Home Loans and most recently Kitsap Bank.
In October of 2010, through mutual friends, Reinard met his wife Melissa. Through mutual friends they started dating. While Reinard did not have a lot of family that lived locally, Melissa had a large family consisting of her father, sister, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grandparents and several cousins. They all welcomed Reinard with open arms, and he became a much loved member of their clan. After 10 happy years together, Reinard and Melissa got married on July 22, 2018. All who knew Reinard knew of the great love and admiration he had for his wife; the bond they shared was truly exceptional.
Reinard will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Melissa Lee, his parents Edward and Regina Lee, and his brother Reginald Lee. He is also survived by his honorary siblings: Michelle Liwanag, Eddie Edrosa, Josh Nauta, Joe Miramontes, JC Coreavu, Joe Joslyn and Chris Ferrer.
Services will be held at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 5505 Kitsap Way in Bremerton on Friday March 22nd from 12pm to 4pm.
