Louis was born January 30th, 1926, in Marshfield, Missouri, to John B. Cologna, Sr., and Adelina (Parolini) Cologna.
Following service to his country during WWII, in the Pacific Theatre, Louis returned home and became employed at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. From 1949 to his retirement in 1981 from Naval Supply Center as Foreman of Heavy Packing.
Preceding Louis in death was his wife Dorothy in 2017, his parents John Sr. (1964) and Adelina (1984). Siblings include a sister, Mary Louise Cologna (1955) brother John Cologna, Jr., (1973) and Margaret Cleary (2011), Elizabeth Parolini (2018).
Louis is survived by his daughter, Margaret Louise, a sister Rose Emma Devaurs of California, and four generations of nieces and nephews.
