of Poulsbo
Jan. 10, 1955
to April 14, 2013
Linda was such a wonderful loving and truly Christ-like woman. She was totally giving and open. Linda was a pure example of embracing everyone totally as they are, as Christ himself, who judged not and accepted all with unconditional love. As heartbroken as we are, we can rest assured that she is celebrating the wonders of God's love and joy of an innocent child. Linda was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on Jan. 10, 1955. She moved from there to Arkansas and then to Palmdale, Calif. where Linda completed high school at Palmdale High. She attended Antelope JC for two years and attained an AA degree.
After college, Linda went on to work at Antelope Valley Golf and Country Club. She first worked in the office and was soon promoted to assistant manager. In her late twenties, she and her son, Steven, moved to the Seattle area. She worked for the Federal Health Department, and then Sun Sportswear in 1987. There she met her husband-to-be, Randy, and on March 7, 1993 they were married. In 1994, Linda, Randy, Duncan, and Gordy founded The Source and nine years later, they retired and moved to Poulsbo.
What was Linda's favorite thing to do? Share God's love with all creatures, even humans. She was Co-President for "Circle of Joy" with St. Barbara's Church in Black Diamond. In Poulsbo at North Kitsap Baptist Church, she spent time in many outreach activities in the church and in the community. Linda especially loved her AWANA kids. She loved her family, which extended way beyond blood. All were family to her at church, Central Market, Apollo Salon, Farmers Market, neighborhood, and of course, every living creature. If you had the good fortune to meet Linda, then you have experienced her HUG and SMILE. God Bless You Linda.
She is survived by her husband, Randy; sons, Steven, Kelly (Marnie) and Kyle (Lisa); daughter, Amanda Lilly; brother, Mike and Maria Mc Mullen and their sons, Patrick and Danny; grandchildren, Kevin, McKenzie, Drew, Keenan, Dawson and Rory; "Dad," Howard Clark; and brother-in-law, Larry and Molly Clark.
There will be a celebration of life at North Kitsap Baptist Church in Poulsbo on Saturday, May 18 at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow. Memorial donations may be made to either North Kitsap Fishline, Bremerton Rescue Mission, Children of the Nations or PAWS
