Kenneth P. Davis, of Bremerton, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 8, 2013. He was 62. Ken was born July 23, 1950 in Vancouver, Wash. to Lauren and Helen Davis. A lifelong resident of Bremerton, he graduated from Bremerton High School, then went on to serve in the Vietnam War. After returning from Vietnam, Ken worked as a welder at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, retiring in 2005, after more than 33 years of service. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Lauren; sister, Karen Eklund; and most recently his mother, Helen Evans. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chris Davis and Brooke Van Leuven of Everett; and grandchildren, Austin, Mariah and Amelia. He also leaves behind many dear friends.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013, 1 p.m., at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home, Bremerton
