Kathleen Lucille Daly

Kathy was born on March 11, 1949 in Bremerton, Washington to Robert and Myrtle Shadbolt. She became an LPN on July 19, 1968 and married Sydney Daly on July 20, 1968. They made their home in Wisconsin until they returned to Washington in 1979. Kathy worked as a nurse and dedicated any free time to caring for her children and then grandchildren. She attended all meets, games and performances that she could. She shared her love of baking, card-making and adventure with all of them. She collected lighthouses, cardinals and ducks.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Bridget (Tim) Chatman of Tacoma, WA, Shawn (John) Guffey of Shelton, WA and Lonna (Jayson) Moore of Olalla, WA; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Brittany and Cassidy Wilson, Tiler and Talia Moore, and Jordan and Adam Chatman; sister Lois (Jim) Brubaker, and brothers, Robert (Karen) Shadbolt, and Henry (Kim) Shadbolt; her stepsiblings, Sherry (Darren) Lamb, Mary Jo (Kelly) Creso, Diane Johnson (Tom Stanton), and Bill (Eileen) Peacher; and many other beloved family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother Bernice Shadbolt and her stepsister Sandee Westall.

Saturday, March 31st at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home there will be a viewing from 11-1, the service at 1 followed by the graveside. There will be a reception following at the American Legion. You are invited to share a memory at www.miller-woodlawn.com
