Jean Brennan

of Silverdale

to July 3, 2012

Jean Doris Brennan was born in London, England to parents Donald and Doris MacNicol. She attended School at Battle Abbey in East Sussex and later the Holloway College of Art. After working as a secretary for several years, Jean took a job with an oil company in Benghazi, Libya, where she met Patrick William Brennan.

Jean and Patrick were married in 1963. Patrick worked for the American State Department, and the pair traveled the world together. After serving in Libya, Greece, Yemen, Ireland, Zaire, Australia, South Africa, Israel, Canada & the Philippines, they retired to Silverdale.

Jean was an active member of the local British Club and enjoyed working at Silverdale Antiques. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick, in 1995. She is survived by her daughter, Siobhan Brennan of Marysville, WA; her son and his wife, Edward and Cherie Brennan of Silverdale; grandchildren Aaron and Jacob Tucheck of Silverdale; sister, Margaret Dick-Cleland of Kent, England; brother, Colin MacNicol of East Sussex, England; brother and his wife, Malcolm and Daphne MacNicol of Suffolk, England. Services will be held at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Wed, Jul 11, 2012.
