Gerry was like a second mom to me. There are so many memories to share about her there isn't just one that stands out. I remember playing cards around her table with her boys and my sister and Mom and other Pleasant Ave Gang members; eating sandwiches in the summer time and my first time I ate liver and onions she convinced me to try; I ended up liking how she cooked them. She gave me a place to live and comfort when I needed it. She was my mom's best friend and they were close in age. When her and the boys moved across the bridge the daily walks to go see Gerry was always in the plans. Her home was all of ours for gatherings into the wee hours of the night.  Growing up around Gerry and all of her boys was a blessing in many ways and love from a second mom that made a difference in my life. The talks we had when my mom was dying helped to comfort me. Gerry was an awesome wonderful lady - friend- and second mom.  Your loved and will be missed dearly Love always Laura (Lorelee)
