Dennis Michael Moore

Moore, HTCS (Retired) Dennis Micheal 54, Passed away on May 29th 2015.He was the son of late William Moore. He was survived by mother Barbara Moore, two brothers David (Donna), Donald (Anna), wife Cheri Moore; three sons Kyle (Lovelyn) their three children Lillyann, Maryann and William, Bryan (Christina) and their three children Madison, Toby and Tori, Sean (Lindsey).

Dennis Enlisted in the United States Navy in 1978. He retired in 2004 after 26 years of service. After completing basic training in Great Lakes Illinois he was assigned to the USS Emory S Land AS-39 in Norfolk Virginia where he was a plank owner and helped it set sail for the first time. He also served on the USS Sacramento from 1981-1984. During those 26 years in the Navy, his favorite moments were on the Carl Vinson where he served from 1986-1991. He spent the remaining years on shore duty working with Assault Craft Unit 5 at both Camp Pendleton CA and Bangor WA.

After retiring from the United States Navy he remained in Bremerton WA where he was employed by Subway Development INC as their maintenance supervisor. In his free time he enjoyed boating, woodworking, Hawks, Mariners, Ducks and hanging out with his friends at the T.

Funeral services will be held Friday June 5th 2015, Viewing begins at 11:00AM-1:30PM. Services will follow at 2:00PM at the Miller-Woodlawn Funeral home.

A celebration of life will be held after the service for all of those who wish to attend. The location will be announced after the service ends. It will be a BBQ Potluck and BYOB.
