He was born in New Eagle, Pennsylvania on April 20, 1950. He graduated from Hamburg High School in New York in1968. He joined the Navy in 1968 and left active duty in 1980. He went on to retire from the Navy Reserves in 1986 as a Master Chief. He was then employed at PSNS in shop 2340 from 1980 until he retired in February of 2011.
He is survived by his Mother Florence and Sister Deb in New York. He is also survived by his Wife Sue, of 51 years, his Children; Michele of Bremerton, Mike and his wife Mary of Buckley, his Granddaughters: Mercedes and her husband Luke Sidhu, Katelynn and Bella, his Step-Granddaughters; Stephanie, Hannah and Emily and the light of his life his Great-Granddaughter Addison.
Dave enjoyed traveling, golf, brewing beer, being in the company of family and friends and camping and hiking in the earlier times.
