She was born in Miraj, India March 20, 1923 daughter of Alison R. and Marion C. (Cuthbertson) Bryan
Janet received her 2 Masters Degrees from Columbia University and the University of Connecticut. She was a school teacher for the for the New Milford Ct. Schools before retiring to Vermont.
Janet is survived by her daughter Lisa Kippen of Tunbridge, VT, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and her sister, Helen Garland, of Gloucester MA.
Services will be private and at the convenience of her family
