Barb was friendly and a wonderful birder. She was one of the people I'd want to stand next to while we did the early morning birding group.  She was forever upbeat, no matter how the world was behaving or what she was experiencing in her body.  Her presence is greatly missed and many birds have gone unspotted. I loved her relationship with Al. I could feel the kindness and love that passed between them. Now I miss them both, as Al died on May 9th.  Even though you both have left the earthly realm my heart is alive with the love you engendered in me.  Robyn
