William George (Bud) Galloway

On January 1, 2015 in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife, Verna Louise (MacMurchy) in 2004; Loving father of Alexander (Marg Gurney), John (Marina), Margaret (Thomas) Bryson, James (Wendy), Thomas (Lesley): grandfather of Eryn & Shawn; Julie & Emily; Katherine & Donald (Jessie) Bryson; Emma, Holly, Audrey & Heather; Jayme & Ryan: great grandfather of Liam Bryson. Brother of Jean (Brown) and Elizabeth (Bessie McCaw), of London. Pre-deceased by brother Robert of Brampton in 1995.

Bud was a long-time employee of the County of Brant as Road Superintendent. This was interrupted by his service in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII; a proud life member of Royal Canadian Legion; and a founding member of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.

Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00 am and a family interment service at Mount Hope Cemetery.
