Tamara Maria Kurzawski

Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, surrounded by her family on Saturday May 6th 2017 in her 81st year. Predeceased by the father of her children, Jakub Kurzawski ( December 3, 2016). Loving mother of Joanna Borowicz (Marian), Maria Poremba (Ray), Andy Kurzawski (Kathy), Peter Kurzawski (Debbie) and Tammy Hudson (Randy). Dear grandmother to 19 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Frank Curypko of Australia, her brothers-in-law John (Pat) Kurzawski, Henry (late Ursula) Glowala and predeceased by brother and sister in law Jan and Irena Sadlowski. Predeceased by her brothers and sister Mikolaj, Stan, Kostek, John and Amelia and is survived by nieces and nephews in Australia and Canada. Tamara enjoyed playing bingo with the Polish Senior Club and was a member of the Catholic Women’s League of St. Joseph’s Parish. Special thanks to Dr. McNeil, Dr. Vincent and the Palliative Outreach Team for their loving care to our mother.

The family will receive friends at the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel” 96 West Street on Tuesday May 9th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm with Parish Rosary at 3:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 235 Brant Avenue on Wednesday May 10th 2017 at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow.

As an expression of sympathy donations to St. Joseph’s Memorial Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.
