Mr. Steve Bognar

Peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Monday, August 23, 2010 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Matild.Predeceased by daughter Margaret Trueman. Father of Julie (Frank) Fulop. Stepfather of Veronika Maassen and Irene Stier. Loving grandfather of Robert, Kelly, Theresa, Emily, Jason, Nannette, Sarah and Robert. Also survived by a great-granddaughter Genevieve. Survived by a sister Erzsebet Pesznyak, brothers Jozsef (Margit) Bognar, Karoly (Erzsebet) Bognar, sister-in-law Piroska Bognar and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Bela Bognar and brother-in-law Lajos Pesznyak. At Steve’s request, cremation has taken place. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at St. Basil’s Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, Brantford on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11:00 am. A funeral and interment service will take place in Serbia, Europe at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Hadley and the care-giving team at the Stedman Community Hospice for their loving care.
