Linda was a long time, dedicated volunteer tutor with the Haldimand Norfolk Literacy Council. Her quiet and loving commitment to our learners over many years has been so valued and respected. We are heartbroken to hear this news and wish Jim and family our very best. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. With unending gratitude.

My heart breaks  to read that Linda has passed away so suddenly. 
I will never forget the laughs that we shared on and off the ice. She was incredible at making people welcomed and comfortable  at the curling club.  She taught me to be confident and trust my instincts  when making calls on the ice . Thanks Linda for your friendship on and off the ice! 



Linda was a warm, caring and wonderful woman.  We were good friends  for a number of years and have great memories of sharing a cottage at Long Point when our children all were small.  Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.

Jim I remember how kind and warm Linda was. We shared some laughs when you and I made the little garden table and stools out of shutters for the Rotary Conference Auction.  She shared your interests and was right by your side.

Jim and family - Grant and I were so very sad to read of this news this morning.  Linda was such an amazing lady.  She helped push me along to be a better curler - to recognize when to sweep and to hold off.  That's were we met.  Along the way, as team mates - we got to be friends.  We chatted about so many things in life.  Her house renos, her new kitchen, her work with Caring Cupboard, even food - especially with our dietary issues with gluten.   Her family.  She was a quiet but fiercely strong woman that I feel could do just about anything.  In recent months, she reluctantly had been skipping in our day ladies league at the curling club.  She stepped into this role when others couldn't - and although she didn't think she was strong enough to be in this position - the rest of us knew differently.  She was an amazing curler who totally underrated her own abilities.  The last time I saw her was on the rink.   I will cherish our talks.
