Joseph Nemeth

Peacefully slipped away, at the Stedman Community Hospice on Saturday, September 6th, 2014, in his 87th year, after a courageous battle against cancer. Joseph, beloved husband of Margaret Victoria (nee Sabyan who passed away in 1995). Dear father of Larry and his wife Janet of Falkland, and Sandy and her husband Conrad of Canmore, Alberta. Grandfather of Alyson, Lindsay and Sean, he will be greatly missed. Joe will also by sadly missed by his many friends at Telfer Place, where he has been an active resident for seven years. Joe was a teacher of Electricity for many years at Pauline Johnson Collegiate in Brantford. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Stedman Community Hospice for their incredible care of Dad and our family at this difficult time. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Tuesday, September 9th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly St., on Wednesday, September 10th at 10am. Private family interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
