I can't believe it has been 14 years. I still miss you. You were such a good human.

Joe we were together for 35 years, you made me laugh everyday, I can't imagine life without you, I never realized when I left for work that day you were in trouble, your heart let us both down that day. In April when Toronto hospital said you were fine even though your heart rate had gone down to 42 beats per minute, when they ordered the stress test on June 28th  i wish we had never gone, you would still be here, the memory of June 29th I will always remember and smile the last night we were together, you giving me hell at midnight over potato chips when I was trying to sleep because I had work in the morning, you just had to open that bedroom door once more to say I can't believe you didn't throw out that bag, that was the last thing you said to me, it was funny because that's what you were always funny, with all the heart and lung issues you were always the life of the party, our family will never be the same but I promise you that Lucas will know his uncle Joe and how much you loved him, you bought him his first bike and Tim will hold onto that for him forever. I love you, I've always loved you, you boys were my world and we were always together. I feel lost without you, the house is too quiet and the computer chair is empty, I know your with Gran and Grampa Joe and Marylou making them laugh, Grampa always called you his pearl harbour baby because you were born on Dec 7th. Till we meet again Joe we will be together again. Mom

I'm so, so sorry for your loss.  I also knew Joe through our online forum.  What a treasure he was to us all...always putting a smile on my face when he posted.  May he rest in peace.

Joe was a true special person always had a smile on his face and in his heart.  He will be missed by many of us.

I knew Joe only from an online forum where he helped us out with all teckie stuff. He was always beyond helpful and just SOO very nice. We will all miss him! We send our prayers out to his family and loved ones.

I did not know Joe well, but I owe him a lot personally, and he has deeply touched my life as well as the lives of many friends. When I think of Joe, I think of courage.  He was a fighter!  Joe loved coming in to volunteer, and he seemed to be so comfortable with his role. He was a part of our hospital family. Joe was a very dedicated volunteer who helped in so many ways.  I truly admire Joe for his sense of commitment to our organization.
