John Pich

(1924-2017)

Passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Elliott Community Long Term Care Facility in Guelph, Ontario in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Luba and sister Helen. Father of Anna (Edward) Thompson and Daniel Pich. Dear Dido of David and Andrew Thompson. Loving brother of Mary and Pauline. John was an active member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist until his 90th year. The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton, Tranquility Place in Brantford, Wellington Park in Guelph and The Elliott Community in Guelph. The family will receive friends at the Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel, 96 West Street, Brantford on Tuesday, January 24th from 7 – 9 p.m. Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Brantford. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
