Peacefully, at the John Noble Home on October 23, 2020 in his 93rd year.
Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth. Loving father of Jim (Mira), Les (Judy) and Sandra (Kelly). Dear Grandfather of Kimberly, Paul, Nicole and Ryan. James will be sadly missed by his nephews Eddy and Michael, nieces Joan and Margaret and their families. He is predeceased by sisters Mary (Irma), Gisella, Cecilia and Joan (Jolan) and brothers Nick and Leslie. James immigrated from Hungary in 1952 as an accomplished furniture maker and will be remembered as the Owner of James Furniture and Upholsterers for over 30 years in Brantford. A private family service will be held at the “Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home & Chapel”. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
