Our condolences to the Lee Family and to all of Jack Lee's very dear friends. I and my five brothers and sister grew up in a home that often heard Jack's name recalled fondly. My mother, Lois Seal Read, met Jack and his family when she was a child. Mom kept in touch with Jack for decades, and in the past couple of years, my youngest brother Phil was in touch with Jack, as well. We used to hear stories of the adventures thatt Lois, Jack, and the children had, in and out of school, and how in the 1930's, when a lot of people were intolerant and suspicious of new-comers to Canada, Jack was made to feel welcome in my mother's house. Recently, my mom tried to contact Jack, but an Internet search by another of my brothers told of Jack's passing. We are all saddened to hear this news. On several occasions, Jack visited my parents' home in Montreal, so we all knew his delightful sense of humor, gentlemanly ways, and warm and shining smile. Jack Lee is forever in our memories.

My Uncle Jack was one of the most courageous and admirable men that I have ever met. He helped me more that I will ever know. Uncle Jack was always helpful and insightful, and always the history buff. He was the greatest piece of history that I could ever ask for.
  
He gave so much, yet accepted so 
little. Uncle Jack was a humble man.

I am so grateful that he could see me graduate. I am happy that I saw him one last time for the cheerful, energetic man that I knew him to be.

May he rest in peace. I don't know if there is really a heaven up there, but if there is I'm sure that my Uncle now resides there with the rest of his friends and the rest of the Lee family.

Goodbye Uncle Jack.

I will miss seeing Jack at the St. Laurent Recreation Centre.  He was inspiring always laughing, joking, and doing things like downhill skiing in his 88th year. 

He was always interested in what was going at NRC, of course, and I, in turn, really enjoyed hearing about his work and adventures in the 50s.   I know his nephew and his family in London were a great comfort to him.

I will sure miss you Jack. We had many laughs and chats in harveys on the phone. I am so sad to see you go I am so glad that we talked on the phone at least every two weeks. You were such a kind man in the 22 years that I knew you. Rest in peace Jack I love you

I will miss Jack coming into Harveys for his Diet Pepsi everyday. We had a few good chats over the last 6 years that I knew Jack. What a kind gentle soul Jack was.

Rest in peace Dear Uncle Jack.  My family met you in your later years and you were so filled with joy and happiness and enjoying life to the fullest. You had a great sense of humour and made great conversation with people of all ages.  I feel blessed to have  known you. From Lynette, Prakash, Kimberlei and Ashlyn.

Jack was a bright star in the Sine family. He was a constant presence, always cheerful, always fun to be with. His kindness, caring and generosity made him the kind of person you could open your heart to. Paul, Linda, Mike, Walter,Trina (Ryder and Ashlyn), Sabrina (Brooklyn) and all his friends will miss him terribly.
But he is with Dot, Marvin, Marge and Allan now, and we will see him again on the other side.

My Uncle Jack was such a generous man.  He was like a second father to me and my brother.  He has done so much for my family throughout the years.  He would have done anything for his family.  We will miss him dearly.

Many years ago when I was a young lifeguard working at St. Laurent Pool, I got to know Jack as a regular swimmer. He laughed along with us at his "golfer-tanned" legs. He was extremely sweet and kind. I was just thinking of him lately as he had given me a wonderful set of dishes as a wedding shower gift, and two of the dishes didn't survive my recent microwave incendent (but one did!). I am sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

Jack will be sorely missed.I worked at NRC in the same division and after our retirement I had the pleasure of sitting across the breakfast table with Jack, every month when the retirees got together. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
