I knew Cheryl when we lived on the same floor at Delaware Hall in the mid 70s at the University of Western Ontario (now Western U).  We did have an opportunity to see each other on occasion at small reunions.  I will always remember her for her kindness and upbeat attitude regardless of the situation.  She was often my Euchre partner and we were a good team winning many games!  My condolences to Dan and their family.  

One of the dearest people I’ve ever known. I met her at Delaware Hall in 1972  and although one year ahead she became a kind, wise advisor to the newbie Frosh. Always picture her in her rollers and housecoat sharing stories at night. Days of innocent fun. My condolences to Dan and family. Truly a lovely person. 

Dear Murrell family,
It is with profound sadness that we heard of Cheryl's passing.
I had the great pleasure of meeting the family during my teaching assignment at James Hillier School, and have a trove of fond memories and deep respect for the Murrell family.
Dan and Cheryl were amazing parental models,  and their affection for and commitment to their children and our school was one of my fondest memories. 
Please stay well until we can meet again.

Dear Dan Christopher Justin Jennifer  Mic  My heart is broken at the passing of Cheryl. I have known Cheryl since grade one and have many wonderful memories of time with Cheryl. Our group would have our dads take turns driving us to and from high school dances. We had many laughs. Cheryl always had a smile and the sweetest giggle. She was truly one of the sweetest people. Happy ,kind ,loving ,a truly good person. Cheryl was a model child a wonderful wife and an extremely proud mother. I know you  have many memories to cherish and help you at this very difficult time. I was just saddened to read of your Mom's passing.
  I enjoyed knowing your Mom very much during those school days and swim club days .  We always had a smile and a laugh.

My sincerest sympathy to Dan, Chris, Justin and Jennifer
 I’m so sorry for your loss and to hear of Cheryl’s difficult health struggles.  
Cheryl and I were childhood friends who walked together to and from Sacred Heart and then the bus to high school every day  for twelve years! . Summers were about bike riding, hanging down by the river or roller skating in her family’s basement. Almost all  of my early memories include Cheryl and her mom and dad. Since those  years, when meeting Cheryl on occasion ,she always kept her sparkle and her sense of humour that I always loved.
Dan, you and your children and Mick are in my prayers. May you all gain strength from each other and in sharing memories of happy family times.
