Wilmer H. Creel

CREEL, Wilmer H., 88, of Dover, FL, passed away September 15, 2018. Born in Slocomb, AL, he was a retired Supervisor for Lykes Brothers, a member of First Assembly of God in Plant City, FL and a U.S. Navy Veteran having received both the W.W.II Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Wilmer is predeceased by his son David F. Creel, parents Preston D. & Ida Mae Creel (Cain) and is survived by his wife Bertha, sons W. Daryl Creel, Gregory D. Creel, daughter Phyllis LeMaster, sisters Joanne Smith, Jeanette Raburn, grandchildren Kimberly Whitehouse, Megan Stephens, Gwen Walter, Timothy D. Creel, Lauren Creel, Jessica Kriechbaum and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with funeral service at 2:00 p.m., both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens with military honors.
