Our condolences to the entire Santiago family.  We live across the street from this family and throughout the long illness of both of them, we have watched you care for them.  The constant support you provided your parents/grandparents  has been a wonderful, loving testimony to the entire neighborhood.  They had to be wonderful parents to merit so much love.  I know you will miss them.

I have many things to be thankful to you both about.Let me start by thank you for being the people that you were. Both of you were one of the most unselfish, loving ,giving people that I got the honor to have in my life. Thru your hard work, struggles and unconditional love you raised a wonderful man that you taught to be a great husband and father. Abuelo, your were more than my grandfather you were my father you were always there for me no matter what you and Abuela loved me unconditionally, never holding grudges towards me and always beleiving in me and for that im grateful. You and abuela were my best freinds true freinds you gave me when you didn't have, you raised me how ever you could, but thru it all you never stopped loving me and I always felt it.You loved my kids and my wife and for that im grateful,Today I feel empty because your not here, but I know your in a better place, the place you always talked about I  hope that its as beautiful as you expected, say hi to abuela and tell her not a day goes by that I don't think about her. He's in gods hands now and even though it hurts I'm glad he's not suffering anymore. He was there throughout my life watching me grow up from the time I was born til now . He taught me how to build bird houses and always had something funny to say. I'll never forget the days where he would pick me up and rock me to sleep or the day he taught me how to ride my bike without training wheels. He was a big part of my life and always will be. He'll forever be in my heart and in my prayers. I know he's in heaven looking down at me protecting me from evil and smiling at the goals I accomplish . Te Amo abuelo , it's not a goodbye but a see you later <3
