William P. "Bill" Milligan

82, of Brandon passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016. A native of Uhrichsville, OH, Bill was preceded in death by his wife of forty seven years, Gayle Milligan, brothers David, Jerry,Richard, and Nick Milligan and sister Vicki Elrod. He is survived by sons John Martin, Bill and Richard Ibison and Will Milligan; sisters Bobbadean Foreman and Bonna McMasters; confidante and companion Ruth Anderson, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Bill retired from the United States Air Force and went on to have a long career with the United States Postal Service. Loved by all who knew him for his kindness, generosity, optimism, and sense of humor, Bill's enduring impact will be felt in the lives of many. Visitation will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd. Brandon, FL 33511, followed immediately by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
