William "Bill" A. Greene

Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lillie Mae; parents Robert Maxwell & Carolyn Greene; brothers Bob and Harry Greene and sister Virginia ‘Sis’ Hines.

Bill and Lillie were lifelong residents of Dover, FL. He was a farmer, alongside his wife. They grew strawberries, oranges, raised cattle and had a poultry farm. Determination and hard work made them very successful with little education. Bill was a veteran with the US Army and served during the Korean War.

Bill is survived by a daughter, Pam Greene Bacon (Ronnie); grandchildren Carolyn Hunter, Brandi Roberts, and Ronnie Bacon Jr.; ten great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren. Bill is also survived by a son, Tommy Billy Greene (Kim); granddaughter Kendall Greene Southall (Chad); and two great granddaughters. He is also survived by Jose’ ‘LoLo’ Noriega (Marcelina), loyal and faithful employee of 45 years. Two surviving brothers Ray Green and Richard Green.

Bill passed along the love of animals to his daughter Pam who established Greene Acres Stables in Plant City, FL. Bill’s love of agriculture and ability to farm continues in his son Tommy, who established TG Farms of Dover, FL.
