Theodore Joseph Lombardi Sr.

LOMBARDI Sr., Theodore (Ted) Joseph, age 86, passed away Friday April 27, 2018 with his family at his side in Temple Terrace. He was a graduate of Xavier High School and received his BS from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH and served in the United State Army. Ted was a retired produce broker originally in Pompano Beach, FL and then in Dover, FL. Ted was a member of Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon, FL since 1979 where he was an usher and a former Knight of Columbus. Ted was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and was devoted to his family, friends, and his Catholic faith. Preceded in death by his parents Renato and Severia Lombardi, sister Joann (William) Ranaghan and his son Theodore Lombardi Jr. and daughter Antionette Cuellar. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Rosa. Together they had 8 children. Daughters, Mary Gray (Oscar Johnson), Cathy (Rick) Destein, Roseann (Robbie) Brown, and sons Francis (Sandra) Lombardi, John Lombardi, Samuel Lombardi and son-in-law David Cuellar. His brother Renato (Dorothy) Lombardi, brother–in-law Father Samuel Driscoll, and sister-in-law Josephine (LeVene) Howard. Twenty grand children, six great grand children, numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10 am with burial to follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
