Susan Ann Soleau

Susan was born on July 26, 1938 to Albert and Lilah (Boush) Allen in Detroit, Michigan. She met Elliott William Soleau, and they wed in August 1964, going on to have three children: Heidi, Chris and Paul.

She was a registered nurse for most of her adult life. Starting in Detroit, Michigan and then moving to Florida where she worked for 20+ years at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida and then going to Shriners Hospital and then John Knox Village where she finally retired from nursing. During that time and in her late 50s, she also got her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the University of Tampa.

After retiring in 2003, Susan spent her time serving at St. Francis of Assisi church in Mango in the office, reading, and visiting with family and friends.

Susan was predeceased by her husband, Elliott, 46 years earlier, her sister-in-law, Mary Owen Soleau and her parents, Albert & Lilah Allen. She is survived by her three children: Heidi of Seffner, Chris of Seffner, and Paul of Washington and her three sisters: Lilah Gill of Seffner, Linda (Jerry) Harvison of Arkansas and Sally (Richard) Boelter of Michigan.
