Sue Bailey Huckaby

Susan Bailey Huckaby, age 87, of Brandon, Florida was received by her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, February 6, 2022 with her family at her side. Sue was born in Rogersville, TN, the second child of Charles and Edwina Bailey. Beside her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Jordan and her brother, Craig Bailey. Sue is survived by her loving children, Kim (Dale) Combs, Pam (Tom) White, and Mark Boring; six precious grandchildren; four adoring great grandchildren; very special nephews; and long time friend, Laverne May.

Sue lived a life knowing her Heavenly Father and was a true example of a faithful follower and teacher. Sue loved her family and showed it in numerous ways each time they spent time together. She also loved flower gardening, birds, singing in the church choir, teaching children's church, playing organ or piano at various churches, and acting in the Sarasota Senior Theatre.

In the near future a graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a memory care or hospice facility of your choice.
