He was born on May 8, 1956 in Birmingham, Alabama. Steve then moved to Miami, Florida in 1958 and then to Brandon, Florida in 1964. He was a proud Brandon High School Eagle, graduating class of 1974. Steve then moved to Midland, Michigan where he attended Northwood University and was a very active brother of the Michigan Iota Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Architecture. Upon graduation, he began his business career with Chrysler Credit Corporation in Louisiana. In 1993 he returned to Brandon, Florida to work alongside his father and brother at Lakeland Chrysler Dodge. In 2011 Steve moved back to Louisiana to be with his children.
Steve lived a full and happy life. He was a member of the Catholic faith. He was a kind, loving, and an incredible father to his two children, TJ and Morgan. Steve adored his parents and siblings. He was an avid Tampa Bay sports fan; he especially loved his Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was always the life of the party, and never met a stranger. Pops loved his two grand-dogs, Max and Sev, and his grand-cat, Onyx.
He was preceded in death by: his father, James R “Bob” Bryan and sister-in-law, Rose Bryan. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Bryan, his children Trent James “TJ” Bryan (Kayla) and Morgan Bryan, his siblings; Jim Bryan (Rose), Becky Bryan Wilson (Bill), Judi Bryan and nephews and nieces; Bryan Wilson, Amber Bryan Hampton (Bryan), Carson Bryan (Dina) and great nephews and nieces; Wade Wilson, Will Wilson, Molly Hampton, Lucy Hampton and Falon Bryan.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home located at 2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511 on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 12:00pm-1:00pm followed by Services beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow.
Pallbearers will be: Bill Wilson, Bryan Wilson, Carson Bryan, Bryan Hampton, Jim Randall, and Craig Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers include the 1970-1974 Brandon High School Eagles football team and his Sigma Phi Epsilon, Michigan Iota Chapter brothers.
