Ronald was born on May 24, 1959 to Marlene Putnam Richards and Gerald Richards in Lewiston, Maine.
After Ronald graduated from Nokomis H.S. he joined the Army.
Ronald was passionate about music and was a gifted musician, he also enjoyed traveling, going to concerts and festivals and being in nature.
Ronald lived in many places before he finally settled in Florida in 2019.
Ronald got involved in the Hillsborough County Government, working as an inspector.
He is survived by his wife Julia Gao, his son Joey, his daughter Michelle, & a son in California, 5 grandchildren and 2 stepchildren Steve Gao Liu and Rebecca Gao Liu, his Brother Randy Richards and his wife Pamela, his brother Rick Richards and his wife Janet, 2 nieces and a nephew along with several cousins in both the Richards and Putnam family.
