It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald J. Marshall, of Valrico, on September 27 2017, at the age of 72. He was born in Washington, Missouri, graduated Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in Accounting and was the sole proprietor of Marshall Business Accounting.
He ran his thriving business as “The Aggressive Bean Counter”, which was one of his passions as most of his clients were aware. He was a long-time member of Network Professionals Inc., a member of New Hope United Methodist Church of Brandon, and active member of Brandon Rotary Club, where he held the office of Treasurer and volunteered much of his time.
Ron enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, woodworking and spending time with family, but his favorite passion was RVing America with his wife, Connie of 36 years. Their goal of visiting every National Park in the U.S. was cut short only by his passing. Ron was an upstanding member of the Brandon community and has left a large void in his passing. He will be missed.
Ron is survived by wife, Connie Marshall, step-children, Tammy and (Todd) Weir, Seffner, Dan and (Bernadine) Todd of Olathe, Kansas, step-grandchildren, Ashley Todd, Lauren Todd, Kyle Todd and Elissa Wallis, brother, Raymond and (Joy) Marshall, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Mary Kay and (Jerry) Dingley of Union, Missouri, 3 nieces and 2 nephews, great nieces and nephews and 1 uncle. He was preceded by parents, Loren and Katherine Marshall of St. Clair, Missouri and two-year-old twin brother, Robert.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October, 7, 2017 at New Hope United Methodist Church of Brandon, 120 N. Knights Ave., Brandon with visitations, 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 and 10 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rotary Club of Brandon P.O.
