WALDRON, Rayford Lee, 87, of Dover, Fla., entered into rest October 18, 2011. He was a lifelong Central Florida resident and a U.S. Army veteran and also a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Scottish Rite. He was the Founder and President of W. W. Trucking Co. of Dover. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mae Johnson Waldron. Ray and Mae raised their family in Dade City, Fla., prior to moving to Bushnell, Fla. They started W.W. Trucking Co. in Dade City in 1954 and moved the business to Dover in 1968. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Dolores Waldron; his daughter and son-in-law, Merrell and Robert Westrick; seven grandchildren, Rob Westrick Jr. (Kelly Calcote), Lara Henschel (Curt),Todd Westrick (Cara), Amy Cardona (Carlos), Alison Valentino (Jeff), Rhett Waldron, Shelby Waldron; and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 2:00-3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his remembrance to Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association, 6668 CR 625, Bushnell, FL 33513.
