Peter "Pete" John Alfonso

Tampa native, Peter John Alfonso, 71, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his home in Brandon, Fla. Peter “Pete” had a strong love for his family and a deep passion for the outdoors. He liked just about every aspect of it, the beach, boating or just sitting in a chair enjoying the view of his well-manicured yard. Pete was enjoyed by many friends throughout his life, most recently his family at The Tampa Jeep Krewe. He was adored by his family and a true leader to us all.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Denise Alfonso; beloved children, Lisa Adams (James), Peter Alfonso (Jennifer), Joseph Hardy, Christopher Hardy, Jaymes Hardy; grandchildren, Raymond Morales, Sara Adams, Ethan Smith, Cole Adams, Peyton Smith, Ava Alfonso, Aubrielle Alfonso, Gavin Hardy, Devin Pinkham, Khole Hardy, Liam Hard; siblings, Katie, Phillip, Paul, Patricia, Pauline; and his many nieces and nephews.

His humor and honesty will be greatly missed by us all.

A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, interment to follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
