Patrick C Whitman, age 82, of Valrico, Florida passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Patrick was born in Tampa and a residence of Valrico for over 60 years. Pat was very proud of his job with the City of Tampa Fire Department where he was employed for over 25 years. He loved to cook, camp, and fish. He loved his church and serving God.
He is survived by his loving children: Tammy Sumner, and Brian Whitman; grandchildren Rachel May and Timothy Sumner and great grandsons, Bruce May and Luca Sumner and great granddaughter Samara Sumner.
He loved his brothers, Michael Whitman and James Whitman, their wives, and children. He was an active member of Countryside Baptist Church and will truly be missed by his Church Family.
A family visitation for Patrick will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Countryside Baptist Church of Dover, 13422 Sydney Rd., Dover, FL 33527, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
