Patrick Wesley Wheeler was born on October 17, 1982 in Kettering, Ohio to Herbert and Odessa Wheeler. From an early age, he was raised in service to do God's work including riding in the church van with his Dad and doing community outreach with his Mom. Patrick was a dear grandson to Mrs. Verniece C. Wheeler and a proud brother to David Wheeler, Rob Wheeler and Krislyn Anderson. He was also a fun uncle to ten nieces and nephews.
Patrick excelled in both school and sports and was rewarded by being accepted into his dream college, Florida A&M University where he graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. Patrick worked throughout college, was a member of the concert choir, and continued to serve in outreach and ministry under the tutelage of Dr. Calvin J. McFadden. In 2020, he went on to graduate with a Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Luther Rice Seminary & College, alongside his wife, Keisha. Over the course of the last 17 years in addition to a progressive career in the corporate world, Patrick has organized, spearheaded and held positions in various churches and Non-Profit organizations in Alabama and Florida.
Patrick enjoyed music, writing, fishing, movies, relaxing on the beach, fun adventures with his kids, and any opportunity to share the love of Christ with others. He never met a stranger and was loved by many including his church family where he was Founding Pastor, Preservation Church and a host of colleagues and friends from Fusion Logistics and BlueGrace Logistics.
Patrick joins in Glory three of his grandparents Mrs. Odessa C. Robinson, Mr. Jim Robinson, and Rev. Herbert H. Wheeler and his Grandfather-in-law and mentor Rev. Benny Williams.
His legacy lives on in his wife of 16 years, Keisha and seven children; Kendall, Christian, Elijah, Avielle, Joy, Benjamin and Amira.
