Stapleton, Patricia Kay YN1 USN (Ret), 71, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Tampa. She was a retired Office Manager for Hillsborough County. Patricia was the Post Adjutant of the VFW Post 4321 in Tampa, and a member of AMVETs Post 44 Brandon, American Legion Post 138 in Port Tampa. She was an avid reader and loved to take photos. Patricia is survived by her husband of 24 years, Daniel J Stapleton, sons, Robert Milford (Jan) and William Milford, a sister, Pam Cederquist, grandchildren, Marc, Ashley, Erin, Beth and Tricia, 2 great-grandchildren and many friends. Visitation will be on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon. A Celebration of Life will be held at VFW Post 4321, 2010 W Morrison Ave, Tampa, FL 33606 on Sunday June 4, 2017 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to VFW Post 4321 in her name.
