Patricia Lynn Cabaniss

Patricia attended and graduated from Draper High School in Rotterdam, NY then later attended Hudson Valley Community College and worked at the Albany State University.

She moved to Tampa in 1976, where she worked for Cummins/Onan, selling generators for 16 years. After that she then worked in the Generator Sales Department for Tampa Armature Works for 26 years, selling Commercial and Residential Generators; retiring in July 2019, after 42 years of work. After retirement, Nana devoted most of her time to helping take care of her 3 grandkids, she dearly loved her grandkids. Many kids, young and old, since 1976 have known Miss Patti, in Girl Scouts and other activities.

She is survived by her husband Richard with 42 wonderful years of marriage; son, Justin Cabaniss and grandson, Daniel Cabaniss in Brandon; daughter, Jenni Ruskin and two granddaughters, Trinity Lynn, and Amyah Lynn; 2 brothers, Robert Rushworth (April) and their kids and grandkids in Lutz, FL, her brother Jeffery Rushworth and son Kevin Rushwort. She was preceeded in death by her Father and Mother, Jack Rushworth & Marguerite Clarke Rushworth and her youngest Brother Danny Rushworth. Many other family members, best friends, coworkers, Brother in Laws, Sister in Laws, neighbors in Seffner way too many too list but they also feel this loss.

She will be remembered with a LOVING Caring Heart, Smile and her NANA personality. Keep her memory alive as her family will do.
