Nina Carter 63, of Dover, passed away at home February 24, 2011. She was born in Philippi, West Virginia and has been an area resident for 27 years. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Clayton; daughter Cindy Sherhag and husband Gabe; grandchildren, Joshua, Nicole, Dakota Sherhag; sister Betty Jett and husband Charles, Jr.; brothers Robert Witt and wife Annice, James Witt and wife Marna, David Witt and wife Threasia; an extended family and numerous friends. A funeral service will be held 5 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2011, with a visitation one hour prior at Stowers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to LifePath Hospice.
