Miss you every day Michael. Prayers for family and friends

Just learned of your loss yesterday. So very sorry.  Although  we haven't seen or spoken in a long whileI just wanted to let you know I've never forgotten either of you and the friendship and memories we made together. Thoughts & prayers .

Mike was an amazing man. I am so grateful I had the chance to know him and be a part of his life. He gave me laughter, love and understanding. The many times he would share about his hunting trips, answering my questions about it too. The times he would just smile and shake his head when Debbie and I would come home from our famous shopping trips with our hands full of bags. But most of all he gave me patience in the tough times, opened his home when I had no place to go, understanding through my tears and love like a father. I will cherish the fact that I had the chance to know him the rest of my life. Always and forever in my heart! MAE

Michael where do I start. I met you when I was a rookie and we became the best of friends forever. The cookout at your house with you and deb and all the memories of hunting with us. Too many to write about. It would be a novel God I will miss you always. 
Deb I am praying for you and your family. My heart breaks for you. 

I was a secretary at District 2 and worked with Mike  for a few years. I  helped him with paperwork, especially payroll whenever he needed help.  We had lots of talks and  laughs together. He was a great supervisor to his squad. He was a very gentle man and will be missed by all. May he rest in peace.

Mike was great to work for at HCSO. You could always count on him if you needed a back up or anything. Always calm and collective.  A Good man and friend to all. Will  always be remembered.

RIP!  I always enjoyed our talks and you were always great to work with.  Gone too soon!  

We started HCSO about the same time in the early 80’s. As zone partners for years I have many stories but I will remember our 30 day road trip to Sturgis in 1984. On the way back a hornet hit you on the lip. You almost lost it and I still snicker when I saw how swollen your lip was. If I find the picture I’ll post it. I will miss you my friend.

I’m like everyone else, in shock.  I have so many good memories.  He was a great supervisor guiding each person to be best they could be never putting anyone down. I thought we lost him when he had his motorcycle accident. It was so bad that I even went to see him at hospital. He was talking a lot but saying the same thing over and over. He made through that. Debbie I was so happy when you and Mike got together. You complimented each other. I will pray for you as you continue this journey. I pray God will give you peace and understanding. Don’t hesitate to call on us when you need us.

Working with Mike was always an adventure. Riding along in a pack of Harley's with him was something to always remember. My sincerest condolences for your loss.

My dear friend Debbie....words cannot express my grief and sadness for you and your family.  I am so sorry that you lost your husband, best friend and soul mate.  My perpetual prayers go out to you and I am here for you now and in the future.

My dear friend Michael....your death has left an ache in my heart and the beginning of a void I didn't see coming.  I'm so happy and grateful that we were able to visit the week before you died.  I have loved you throughout our friendship of nearly 35 years.  We worked in patrol together both in the beginning and the end of our careers.  How lucky I was to have you as a supervisor, teacher and mentor.  We had fun both in and outside of work.  I'll never forget our countless 10-40's, our 10-56 conversations, Daytona Bike Weeks (on a not so soft, Soft-Tail Harley), concerts, parties and scuba diving.  So many memories, laughter and good times we shared in the earlier years, and later, the good times shared with you and Debbie.

You were a Vietnam combat veteran, A TPD Officer and a HCSO Sergeant.  You loved to hunt, listen to and sing rock-n-roll music, cook outdoors and ride your Harley.

"Tazz", you are an example of a good man; respectful, humble, kind, generous, funny and  happy, never saying an unkind word about anyone.  You have changed my life by being a part of it.

I always remember your birthday on October 15th (10-15 how cool!) And you passed away on September 30th, my birthday.  It took my breath away when Debbie called me.

Your faith and love of our savior, Jesus Christ, gives me the peace of believing you are in Heaven now, for all eternity, in no more pain, in the company of all the Angels and Saints, wrapped up in God's loving arms.

I am having a Catholic Mass said in your memory.

Rest in Peace my beloved friend.  I'll never forget you and pray I  see you again.  Margaret Mary
