Words will never express how your death has impacted me as well as so many others. There will always be a void in my heart and in my life, but I can only find comfort in knowing that you are in a better place than the one you left behind. You were on your way up and we were so very proud of all of your accomplishments. Matt, you were so dependable... No matter what was needed you were always there for your family and friends. Your heart was so big, so kind,  so loving. You never judged anyone.. not a whole lot of people can say that about themselves but I can say that about you. You were wise beyond your years. Some of our conversations went so deep at times and I would be like.... Where does he get all of this from???  You had such a quick wit and great sense of humor. Your incredible smile could light up any room. You were so smart.. So handsome... I will miss you... I already do. We have always been close but had gotten even closer recently... I will never forget you or what you meant and will always mean to me. Thanks for being my confidant and friend. I love you Matt!

We never had the pleasure of meeting Matthew but it sounds like he was a caring and loving person to many.
As a Mom my heart breaks for Dawn in this difficult time. Our loving thoughts and prayers to all the family and others who’s lives he touched.

My thoughts and prayers are with his whole family during this deeply hard time.

One of my first memories of Matthew was watching him ride his skateboard around Mann Middle School, his hair would just fly around in the wind as he whipped around with the biggest smile on his face. I will always remember how sweet and caring Matthew ALWAYS was. He just had such an amazing way of making   you feel like you were the most important person in the whole world. His smile would brighten any room he walked in to and his laugh was contagious. He loved his family with all of his heart and they meant everything in this world to him. I know he was never the same after he lost Eric and I’m finding solace in the fact that at least they are together again.  My heart is breaking for his loving Mother, Dawn.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. 

There are no words to convey how much I wish I could take away the pain that you all are feeling right now. Just know that I'm here for you all and my thoughts and prayers are with you! You are not alone. May your sweet memories of Matt bring you comfort during this time! ❤

Matt was always such a kind hearted young man. I’ll never forget his love for his family. He was always a big part of the girls life. He stood by the girls when Eric passed and remained present in their lives. He will always remain in our hearts.

I also have many memories of Matt coming over on the weekends to hang out.

I love Matt and will miss him.  I remember when he took me out to eat lunch and shopping,  he was there for me after my dad passed away.  He was funny and I love him.  Sophie

I will never forget about the time that we invited Matt to Homosassa for Easter, when he told me thank you, I knew that he really meant it and was grateful.  Matt was kind and had a huge heart.   Many hearts are broken right now, sending love and prayers to his family and especially his devoted mother, Dawn.

Matt always had a smile on his face and was always so nice and kind . I remember he use to go to Tanya and Eric's house to watch games or just hang out all the time. He always came to the gatherings. He was a joy to be around. He was a great guy and will be missed by many.
