FINNEY (Weaver), Mary Laverne, 84, of Brandon, FL, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, May 11, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family. Born in El Paso, TX, she was predeceased by her parents Wilmer and Marguerite Weaver, her husband Carl S. Finney, daughter Diane Stafford, brother Marc Weaver, and sons Robert Finney and Michael Finney. Mary is survived by her sons Steven Finney and Jon Finney, daughter Karen Jones and sisters Janet Ott (Jack), Donna Ivey (Jerry) and Eleanor Jones (Johnny) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandson. "Mama" loved her children, churches and serving others; she could always be found in the kitchen at any church event. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, with graveside service at 10:00 a.m., at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
