Mary Ellen Carroll Convery, 85, of Sun City Center, FL, died at home surrounded by family on March 31, 2024.
A native of Indianapolis, born in 1939 to John and Harriett Carroll, ,Mary Ellen attended St. Mary’s College before marrying Thomas Convery and becoming a mom and bookkeeper. She retired from Brevard County school system.
Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Tom; her son, TJ (Alease) of Lilburn, GA; her daughter, Mary Ann Roth (Todd) of Boca Raton FL and her grandchildren Blake Roth (Sam) of Denver, CO and Bailey Roth of Coconut Creek, FL.
Mary Ellen & Tom loved boating, owned many boats through the years, were members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary for over 20 years of boating in Merritt Island offshore through Cape Canaveral and various trips on the ICW & Bahamas. She was also a lover of dogs and they had many over their lifetime, working with GRRMF (Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid FL) a volunteer with Tom for many years.
