Jim graduated from Broad Ripple High School and Indiana University. Jim spent most of his professional life in sales and rose to be National Sales Manager for two industrial chemical producers. Jim and his wife, Sue, were also successful entrepreneurs and small business owners. Together they ran two successful Mailboxes Etc. (UPS Store) franchises.
A longtime member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, Jim's faith was a cornerstone of his life. Beyond his professional and spiritual life, Jim was also a talented painter, which allowed him a creative outlet and brought him much joy. He was an avid runner, and triathlete, and continued to walk regularly in his later years.
Jim's family was central to his life. He was a loving husband to his late wife, Sue Harbridge, a devoted father to his children, Terri Fellers and Jim Harbridge, and grandfather to Grant, Daniel, Emily, Anna, and James. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Margaret Harbridge, and his brother, Fritz Harbridge.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 4th at 9 am, followed by a service at 10 am at Hillsborough Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to LifePath Hospice in Sun City Center. Jim's legacy is marked by his zest for life, his commitment to his family and community, and his enduring kindness and charisma. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
