Lynn "Saumell" Wren

Linda “Lynn” Wren, 84, of Valrico Florida, passed away on August 23, 2022 of natural causes. Linda was predeceased by first husband, Rudolph “Rudy” Saumell, second husband, Delaney “Dee” Wren, and brother, Robert “Bob” Bossa. She is survived by children, Darlyn McCormick/husband Sean and Corie Saumell-Kraemer, in addition to sisters-in-law , Donna Bossa and Shirley Saumell, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and teacher in Stamford, CT, retiring over 30 years ago to Valrico, FL. She enjoyed traveling extensively with Rudy, her husband of 45 years, while establishing strong roots in the Brandon community. After his death in 2005, she made many new friends, volunteering and joining numerous groups, finding a true connection with God through St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church. There, she married her second husband, Dee, in 2009, sharing a brief joy until his untimely death.

Linda will be missed, especially for her eternally cheerful and spiritual disposition. She had a whimsical sense of humor, as well as a love baking and crafting. She made everyone smile, sharing her delicious creations, especially strawberry and banana breads with friends and family.

Her daughter is eternally grateful to her Florida Family and in lieu of flowers would like to ask that donations be sent to St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church at 3315 S. Bryan Road, Brandon, FL 33511.
