NIEVES, Lydia, 97, of Valrico passed away January 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claudio; and her son, Joseph. She is survived by her daughter, Tessie Falkenbach (Carl); five grandchildren, Joseph Nieves, James Nieves, John Nieves, Diana Falkenbach and Joanna Drew; and seven great-grandchildren, David, Ashley, Delaney, Dylan, Joseph, Casey and Lily. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Nativity Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Nativity Food Pantry.
