Joyce Ann Perry-Haase, 76, of Lithia, FL, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015, in Brandon, FL following a short illness. Joyce Ann was born November 17, 1938 in Toledo, OH, and grew up in Michigan. She lived in many exciting places as a U.S. Navy wife, including the Philippine Islands, California, and at the U.S. Naval Base in Great Lakes, IL. Joyce Ann was an active community volunteer. She donated hundreds of shoe boxes filled with gifts for needy children to Operation Christmas Child over the years. She was very active in her neighborhood HOAs over the course of her life, serving most recently on the Phoebe Park Landscape Committee. She enjoyed making the world around her a more beautiful place. She is survived by her husband, Ronald G. Haase, of Lithia, FL, her son, Arthur J. Perry, of Valrico, FL, her daughter, Jeannie Baker (Glenn), of Orlando, FL, and her grandchildren, Erica C. Baker, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, and Edwin W. Baker, of Orlando, FL. She is also missed by Ron’s children, Mike Haase, of Atlanta, GA, and Lisa Miller, of Raleigh, NC, and his grandchildren, Seth, Jessica, and Eric. Many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and loving friends also survive her. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Gerald W. Perry, her parents, James J. and Ruth E. Mueller, and her sister, Patricia E. Mueller. Joyce was deeply loved and will be missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL. A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Stowers Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2853 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, FL. Friends may make a donation to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
