Griffin, John Duncan, 92, of Brandon, entered into rest on September 22, 2017. He is survived by his daughter; Mary Griffin Bendickson (James), Sons; David Joseph Griffin (Brenda), and Paul Mark Griffin (Penny); seven grandchildren; Virginia Slusher Haynie, Tammy Griffin Mills, Julie Slusher Carter, Philip David Slusher, Andrew Paul Griffin, Adam Christopher Griffin, and Stephen Benjamin Griffin, and twelve great-grandchildren; Jared Haynie, John Haynie, Jenna Haynie, Madison Walker, Molly Mills, Carson Griffin, Sydney Griffin, Georgia Griffin, Elizabeth Griffin, Ramona Carter, Simon Carter and Kaidyn Palmer. Services will take place on Saturday, September 30th at Southside Baptist Church in Brandon, Florida. The visitation will be from 2 – 3 p.m. and the service will begin at 3. A private burial will be held at a later date.
