Jerome Albert Meyers of Lithia, Florida passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 56. Jerry was born February 10, 1968, in Augsburg, Germany where he obtained duel United States citizenship and grew up in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
Jerry attended East Bridgewater High School and Graduated from Norwich University in 1990 with a degree in Physical Education. Upon graduation, LTC (R) Jerome A. Meyers, a true Patriot, who loved his country and family equally, served his country honorably for 22 ½ years. He was a proud member of the ‘Night Stalkers’, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). His decorations, awards and badges include: The Bronze Star; Defense Meritorious Service medal (2nd Award); Joint Service Commendation medal (3rd Award); Meritorious Service medal (2nd Award); National Defense Service medal (2nd Award); Global War on Terrorism Service medal (2nd Award); Korean Defense Service medal; Overseas Service Ribbon (4th Award); Iraq Campaign Medal w/Campaign Star; Senior Aviation Badge and Air Assault Badge.
Jerry enjoyed playing cards; time with the family; riding bikes with his boys; going to the range with Kyle; playing hockey with his sons, Kyle and Bryan; watching hockey with his wife; ‘fun time’ with his brothers; time around the fire pit with neighbors and good friends and watching movies.
Celebrating Jerry’s LIFE and grieving his loss are his beloved wife, Olga of 25 years; their sons Bryan and Kyle; his three brothers, Thomas, Charles, and Andrew; his aunts: Mary and Bernadette Kern; Cousins and numerous nephews and nieces.
Memories: Lake Denton trampoline maritime operations; family in Boston, Ma. (2011) Bruins/Bolts playoff game at Boston, in full Bolts attire; Bruins Drill at the range; learning to ride motorcycles; the family reunions at the Chuck’s house; Ousamequin Pines, East Bridgewater Massachusetts hocky, football, b-ball, fishing, swimming, growing, learning, living….; card games; good friends in the military; slide at the pool; knee hockey.
The Meyers family would like to thank all who helped during this time of loss and grieving.

Burial: Tuesday, 27 FEB, 1 pm at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave. Bushnell, FL 33513 (352-793-7740). *There will be a final visitation from 11 am to 12 pm and then proceed to the burial site*
