Janet Leona Goodson

GOODSON, Janet, 60, of Balm passed away August 18, 2011. She and her late husband, Donn founded Goodson Farms in 1979. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who loved and served the Lord. She was preceded in death by husband, Donn. She is survived by her two sons, Mike Goodson and daughter-in-law, Jessica, and Rick Goodson; three grandchildren, Bryan, Brittni and Cassi; fiancé Jerry Lansaw; three brothers, Ronnie, J.W. and Terry Fulwood; and three sisters, Dava Wright, Annette Lott, and Mary Jo Ausburn. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Ruskin. Interment will follow in Fellowship Cemetery, Wimauma. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Children’s Home, 11415 Hope International Drive, Tampa, FL 33625.
